Man held in possession of Rs 3.2 mln without clear source



BUTWAL: Police have arrested a man with a huge amount of cash with unclaimed sources from Kapilvastu.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of police arrested 39-year-old Ram Bahadur Khatik alias Chetan Khatik of Kapilvastu municipality-9, Harnapur with Rs 3,289,150 and IRs 185,040 on Friday night.

Police have also seized 16 mobile sets of different companies from his room.

The arrested has been sent to Revenue Investigation Department for necessary action, informed DSP Dharma Raj Bhandari of District Police Office, Kapilvastu.
