Beni initiates implementing pride projects of Rs 90 million



BENI: Beni municipality has started implementing pride projects for which a government budget amounting to Rs 90 million was appropriated in the current fiscal year 2022/23.

Taking into consideration the importance and priority, the municipality had set aside a total budget of Rs 90.01 million for five road projects, three drinking water projects, a building construction project, a sports ground construction project and chilling centre construction project.

Chief of municipality’s infrastructure section engineer Bimal Ranjan Karki said contracts have been signed for seven mega projects.

“Construction works of two projects have already started after contract signing while preparation is underway for five projects”, he informed.

Likewise, contract has been solicited for three projects. We are making preparation to initiate contract process for a project after finalizing its cost estimation, he added.
