Stable government needed: UML Chair Oli

BAGLUNG: CPN UML Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has stated that only a stable government can ensure development and prosperity.

Addressing an election rally in Burtibang of Baglung on Monday, Chairman Oli said a robust force should be there in place for the government formation.

Oli was of the view that nation building processes could not take place in case of a weak government.

A single party’s powerful government can carry out the developmental works as per the people’s aspirations, Oli added.

Arguing that the upcoming elections were linked to the nation’s future, Oli said that UML is the only party to deliver people’s aspirations and the party has understood people’s concerns.

On the occasion, Oli claimed that his party was united and there was no factionalism in UML, and expressed his satisfaction for the exit of disgruntled leaders from the UML.

Oli reiterated his commitment to retain Nepal’s lost territory after the formation of the UML-led government after November 4 elections.

Candidates of House of Representatives (HoR) and provincial assembly from Baglung also addressed the rally.
