Unauthorized structures to be removed in Birgunj



BIRGUNJ: Birgunj metropolis has launched its drive to remove unauthorized structures constructed by encroaching upon public road.

In this connection, the metropolis has issued a 35-day public notice to remove the huts and structures built unlawfully in the first phase.

Metropolis mayor Rajesh Man Singh shared that the public notice was issued calling for clearing off the unauthorized houses and huts in the areas for road expansion.

The notice was issued to evict the illegally-built structures along both the sides of the road from Gandak Chowk to Snankaracharya Dwar via power house, Ghantaghar, Maisthan, Mahabirsthan, Adarshanagar, Alakhiya Mathm Birta temple, Narayani hospital, Birgunj custom office.
