KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives (HoR) has sent the impeachment motion against Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana to the impeachment recommendation committee.
The HoR on Sunday discussed the impeachment motion against Rana.
After the discussion, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota submitted a proposal to send the impeachment motion to the HoR-formed Impeachment Recommendation Committee.
Speaker Sapkota’s proposal was approved by a majority in the HoR.
The next meeting of the HoR is to be held on Tuesday at 11 am.
