BAJURA: An election is being held in Bajura’s Budhiganga municipality today.

The Election Commission (EC) had decided to hold re-polling in Budhiganga, saying that the election was not held in a free and fair manner there.

UML and Nepali Congress (NC) cadres had occupied booths in six out of 10 polling stations during the May 13 polls.

The EC has fixed 10 polling stations and 19 polling stations for voting.

According to the District Election Office, 95 staffers have been deployed for re-polling in Budhiganga.

Ram Bahadur Baniya from UML and Rang Bahadur Khati from Congress are the mayoral candidates.
