A private hotel provides in Manglabare public toilet facility

ILAM: Joining the solidarity bandwagon of providing public toilet to the call initially made by Kathmandu Metropolis Mayor Balendra Shah, a private hotel here has also begun providing the essential facility.

A tourism entrepreneur Tika Odari at Kanyam in Ilam district has announced that his hotel ‘Kanyam Inn Hotel’ was facilitating the people with public toilet.

“Although it is a touristy area, there is not public lavatory. So, It decided to ensure this facility at my private hotel,” he said, adding that the tourism entrepreneurs were demanding the management of public toilet, but in vain.

According to the locals, Suryodaya Municipality in the district failed to manage public toilet to the tourists visiting Kanyam. Hundreds of tourists visit Kanyam every day.

Odari is the first one here to run a hotel and lodge in a commercial manner. In addition to the scenic beauty, tea-estate, horse-riding and paragliding are available to attract tourists.
