Experts’ team to visit landfill site at Sisdol today



KATHMANDU: A team led by Kathmandu Metropolitan Environment Department is visiting the landfill site in Sisdol today.

A team of experts led by Sarita Rai, head of the environment department, will leave Sisdol, said Kumar Byanjankar, an aide of Mayor Balen Shah.

Likewise, experts at NAST, Dr. Ravindra Dhakal, Dr. Tista Prasai Joshi, Amrita Poudel and others will also accompany the team for an on-site study of the landfill site.

The team will carry out a study and necessary tests of the samples of water and gas at Sisdol.
