Minister Bhusal inaugurates Citizen Health Service Center in Khokana



KATHMANDU: Minister for Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation Pampha Bhusal inaugurated Citizen Health Service Centre and Senior Citizen Therapy Centre at Khokana of Lalitpur Metropolitan City-21 in Lalitpur today.

The ward no 21 residents could now receive healthcare services continuously from the newly inaugurated Centre run by the ward office.

Stating that she had been continuously making efforts to ensure electricity, road, and irrigation among other basic needs for the locals in Khokana, Minister Bhusal pledged to continue her efforts in the coming days.

The Minister was all the praises for the role of the ward office in ensuring public health services even during the COVID-19 crisis and expressed her gratitude to the people’s representatives for catering to the healthcare need of the public.
She viewed that the ward office was successful in conserving the heritage of Khokana famed for the cultivation and production of mustard oil.

On the occasion, Minister Bhusal handed over a financial contribution worth Rs 500,000 for the revolving fund of Rudrayani Panchataal Guthi.

Ward no 21 chairperson Rabindra Maharjan reaffirmed his commitment to continue providing basic needs such as education, and health services to the locals.
