PM Deuba inaugurates anti-typhoid vaccination campaign



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has inaugurated an anti-typhoid vaccination campaign today.

Prime Minister Deuba inaugurated the anti-typhoid vaccination campaign by handing over a vaccine carrier to a health worker at a program organized at Durbar High School in Ranipokhari.

The vaccination campaign which began today will run till May 8.

The anti-typhoid will be administered to children aged between 15 months to 15 years.

This is the first time the government is administering the anti-typhoid vaccine in Nepal. It has planned to administer this vaccine to 7,500,000 children across the country.

The vaccine is available in nearby vaccination centers.
