‘Over 200,000 tourists visited Ghalegaun in 21 years’

KATHMANDU: Over 200,000 tourists have visited Ghalegaun homestay based in Kwhlosothar rural municipality-3, Lamjung in the last 21 years.

Known as a smart village, Ghalegaun home stay had been started from 12 houses in 2057 BS.

Out of 135 houses, 42 are operating homestay, informed Prem Ghale, the chairman of Ghalegaun Tourism Committee.

In the period of two decades, a total of 210,405 domestic and international tourists have visited Ghalegaun which began from 2057/58 BS.
