Bharatpur Metropolis advances steps for high-tech administrative building



CHITWAN: The Bharatpur Metropolitan City has announced a tender notice for the construction of its state-of-the-art administrative building. The estimated cost of the high-tech building is more than 943.2 million.

It is said that the Federal Government has released Rs 350 million and the Bagmati Province Government has pledged to provide 50 per cent amount of the tender commitment. Remaining amount would be covered by the Bharatpur Metropolitan City itself in case of shortfall, it is said. The building with underground parking facility will spread over 14,152 square meters.

Chief Administrative Officer of Bharatpur Metropolitan City Ram Bandhu Subedi said the tender notice was issued to complete the building construction within 30 months.

The building will have separate waiting rooms for senior citizens, a library, an exhibition hall, several meeting halls and other facilities. The building will have disabled-friendly structures.
