Eight hundred thousand doses of vaccine arrive



KATHMANDU: A total of 862,080 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine against COVID-19, provided by the British government through the COVID-19 Vaccines Global Access or COVAX facility, have arrived in Nepal Monday.

Head of the supply management branch of the Department of Health Services Surendra Chaurasia said the doses were out of the 2.17 million vaccines provided by the British government through COVAX facility.

According to him, the remaining 1.312 million doses of vaccines will be delivered on February 13.

So far, more than 46.6 million doses of vaccines have arrived in Nepal.
