Rallies, mass meetings prohibited in Kathmandu Valley

KATHMANDU: All three district administration offices in the Kathmandu Valley have prohibited rallies and mass meetings with effect from Monday.

A meeting of the Chief District Officers of all the three districts issued the order.

The CDOs have instructed not to hold any activities, including public meetings, processions, conferences and processions in the Valley.

Meanwhile, all educational institutions will be allowed to operate in Kathmandu Valley from February 13.
