SINDHUPALCHOWK: Two persons were murdered in a Khukuri attack at Upper Chimling of Balefi rural municipality-7 on Sunday evening.
A local Bijay Tamang killed Basumaya Tamang, 70, and Santa Bir Tamang, 59, of the same place using Khukuri, according to the District Police Office.
Bijay was under the influence of alcohol when the incident occurred.
Superintendent of Police, Rajan Adhikari, said that police have arrested Bijay and further investigation into the case was underway.
