NC General Secy Sharma stresses social transformation

TAPLEJUNG: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Biswo Prakash Sharma has stressed the need of social transformation.

Speaking at a program organized by Sidingwa Rural Municipality of Taplejung on Friday, he said investment should be increased in the education and health sectors as the country’s development was not possible without societal transformation. Criminal incidents are on the rise every day when social transformation is not gaining momentum, he argued.

The NC general secretary said changes are not happening in the society as the government has emphatically invested in the sectors such as road, building construction and drinking water.
