Unified Socialist demands investigation into attack on journalist Alan



KATHMANDU: The Unified Socialist has demanded an investigation into an attack on the deputy general secretary of Socialist Press Organization Nepal, Ram Kumar Alan.

Alan is also a member of the publicity department of the party. Issuing a press release, chief of party publicity department, Jagannath Khatiwada, condemned the attack on Alan at Palpasa Sadan of Hetauda Sub-Metropolis-2.

Alan has received injury on his face. The party demanded stringent action on those involved in attacking him.

Also injured in the incident were general secretary of Bagmati Province Committee of FNJ, Krishna Saru Magar, and editor of the Bagmati Express, Ramesh Banjara.
