KATHMANDU: Light to moderate rainfall is likely to take place in some places of the country today.
Due to the influence of the Monsoon system, there will be partial to normal change in the weather over the country, with a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in a few places in the hilly areas of the country, according to the Department of Water and Meteorology.
There is also a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places in Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
Later in the night, there is chance of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in a few places of Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces while heavy rain in one or two places of Gandaki province.
On Sunday, there is likelihood of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some parts of the country’s hilly areas and a few places in the rest of the country. There is possibility of heavy rainfall in one or two places in the SudurPaschim Province, the department said. (RSS)
