Desire to meet Shinzo Abe could not be fulfilled: Prachanda



KATHMANDU: Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” said his desire to meet Japan’s former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe could not be fulfilled.

Talking to journalists at the Narita Airport in Japan on Saturday, Prachanda said, “I have met and interacted with him many times, but unfortunately I could not meet him this time.”

Prachanda arrived in Japan for a five-day visit.

He also said that he would take stock of the situation of Nepalis in Japan during his stay there.
