NC designates Lekhak, Biswakarma and Bhusal to discuss election law draft



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) has entrusted party central members, Ramesh Lekhak, Min Biswhakarma and Pushpa Bhusal to discuss the election law draft and also sister organizations.

The party on Tuesday discussed the election law draft sent by the Election Commission.

According to NC assistant general secretary, Badri Pandey the office-bearers’ meeting had a preliminary discussion on the EC-proposed bill including provisions from candidacy filing to vote count.

Pandey informed that the meeting also dwelt on the applications submitted by the term-expired sister and benevolent organizations of the party demanding recognition.

The party is holding another meeting on July 10.
