Today’s cabinet meeting sacked Poudel from his post as the General Manager of NAC, according to the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.

Earlier, the Ministry had sought clarification from Poudel. The Ministry had recalled General Manager Poudel to the Ministry, citing he worked against the NAC’s interest.

Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation, Prem Bahadur Ale, had taken the proposal to sack GM Poudel in the cabinet, saying Poudel indulged in activities that were detrimental to NAC’s interest.

The then government led by KP Sharma Oli had appointed Poudel to the post for a term of four years.
