NEPALGUNJ: COVID-19 infection has been found in three India-returnee Nepali people.

The infected persons, who were returning to Nepalgunj from neighboring India, tested positive for the virus at the health desk at Jamunaha transit, said Dhiraj Jung Shah, chief of the Banke district health office.

The infected are from Dailekh, Pyuthan and Jajarkot districts.

Eight India-returnee people were diagnosed with the infection in around two weeks, he said, adding that approximately 50 India-returnees were being tested for the virus at the transit on a daily basis.
