I abide by party’s decision: Outgoing Minister Ale

KATHMANDU: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Ale has said that he will abide by the party’s decision.

Minister Ale, who became a minister representing the CPN (Unified Socialist), said that he would abide by the party’s decision.

The Unified Socialist on Sunday called back four ministers and one state minister from the government and recommended new ones.

The party has also sent the names of the new ministers to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

However, Minister Ale said that there was no dilemma in accepting the party’s decision amidst reports circulating that some ministers have refused to step down. “Once the party has made a decision, I have to accept it,” he said.

Unified Socialist senior leader Jhala Nath Khanal said new ministers have been recommended after six months as per the agreement reached earlier by the party.

Khatiwada said that he was not aware of the decision of the party to send a list of new ministers to Baluwatar.
