I will run Kathmandu ensuring ownership by all is felt: Singh



KATHMANDU: Srijana Singh, who is the coalition’s mayoral candidate in Kathmandu Metropolitan City, has said if elected, she will run the metropolis in such as way wherein ownership of all is felt.

Addressing a joint election rally organized by the coalition at Shanti Batika, in Kathmandu, on Friday, she said that she would run the metropolis as a ‘Great Home’ of all residents.

“I will never let the voters down,” she said, adding, “I will make the metropolis a great home.”

She also committed to make the metropolis such that people of all castes would feel the city was their own and where, all would be treated respectfully.

According to Singh, her agenda was implement good governance in the metropolis, improving the condition of community schools, preserving the heritage and increasing greenery, among others.
