Septuagenarian killed as house catches fire



PALPA: An elderly man died after his house caught fire.

The deceased has been identified as 79-year-old Man Bahadur Somai of Raina Devi rural municipality-4, said District Police Office, Palpa.

Somai’s house caught fire at 1 am today. He had been staying alone in the house. The house was completely destroyed.

The reason behind the fire is not known yet. Police said they are investigating the case.
