Police parade the accused of Kabita Sunuwar murder case



UDAYPUR: Udaypur Police have has arrested and made public the accused in the murder of a girl of Belka Municipality-3, Buddha Chowk, Udaypur.

Organizing a press conference on Wednesday, Udaypur police made two accused of the Kabita Sunuwar murder case. The accused made public are  Binod Dhakal of Belka-3,  and a 17-year-old minor of the same place. They both had allegedly killed Sunuwar, 16, a Grade 10 student of Koshi Janata Secondary School.

According to SP Subash Chandra, the accused had killed Sunuwar assaulting her with a beer bottle and stones on Tuesday morning.

Accused Dhakal has been remanded for 7 days and the minor has been remanded for 5 days from Udaypur District Court.

The political parties, human rights activists and various organizations of Udaypur have demanded a thorough investigation into the incident and due action against the culprits.
