Police seize two trucks carrying goods worth Rs 15 million



BIRGUNJ: Armed Police have taken under control two trucks heading to Pathalaja from Birgunj on Tuesday night.

A team deployed from the Armed Police Force No. 13, Parsa took the trucks — Na 7 Kha 942 and Na 2 Kha 9543– under control at 8:30 pm.

The truck (Na 7 Kha 942) contained clothes and goods worth Rs 5.192 million, according to the police.

Similarly, the truck (Na 2 Kha 9543) contained medical supplies, medicines and retail goods worth Rs 94.53 million.

Police have handed over both the trucks to the Revenue Investigation Office Pathalaiya on Wednesday for necessary action.
