Govt in favor of freedom of the press: Communications Minister Karki



KATHMANDU: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Karki has said that the government was in favor of freedom of the press and was with the media professionals to help the communications sector to prosper.

Minister Karki has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to continuous collaboration with the media sector.

He has also called for contribution from all quarters to the incumbent’s government aspiration to make Nepal a prosperous country within a decade.

Karki claimed the communication sector had significantly contributed to every political change in the country.
