RPP demonstrating in Kathmandu on April 8

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is set to organize a demonstration in Kathmandu on April 8.

Preparations are underway to make the mass assembly successful, the party said.

RPP’s Bagmati Pradesh Committee has reviewed the preparations for the general assembly by holding a joint meeting of the central office bearers and members available in Kathmandu.

Party leader Buddhiman Tamang, vice-chairman of the party’s mobilization committee, pointed out the need to continue the nationwide show of strength.

RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden has insisted that the party would garner a majority in the next general election.

The party has been advocating the reinstatement of a constitutional monarchy and a Hindu state.
