UML will soon end House obstruction and enter parliamentary process: Law Minister Badu



KATHMANDU: Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Dilendra Prasad Badu has claimed that the UML will soon end the parliamentary obstruction and enter the parliamentary process.

Talking to media persons at the Parliament building in New Baneshwor on Sunday, Minister Badu said that the UML had accepted the parliamentary process by sending members to the impeachment recommendation committee formed to move forward the impeachment motion filed against Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana.

The UML has four lawmakers of the 11 members in the impeachment committee formed by House of Representatives (HoR) meeting on Sunday.

Minister Badu also said that the issue of early elections surfaced as the UML has been obstructing the parliament for long and the people started doubting its validity.

He assured that if the UML entered the parliamentary process, the parliament would run full-fledged until its term.
