Govt encouraging industrialists: Home Minister Khand



KATHMANDU: Home Minister Balkrishna Khand has said government would encourage the industrialists of the country.

“Private sectors’ trust on state will be kept intact. Private sectors have tremendous role on State functioning,” he said.

Home Minister Khand expressed worry over increased import of petroleum products.

According to him, MCC compact for the electricity transmission could help augment electricity production and use and reduce import of petroleum.

The Home Minister further claimed that MCC compact would foster development in the country.

With the endorsement of Compact, it has avoided dollar crisis.
