House of Representatives meeting taking place today

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is taking place today.

The meeting is scheduled to take place at the Federal Parliament building in New Baneswor at 1 pm, according to the Federal Parliament Secretariat.

The main opposition party, the CPN-UML, has maintained its stance of obstructing the parliament as its demands have not been addressed.

However, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota has been conducting the meetings ignoring the UML protest.

Meanwhile, the Parliament Secretariat has made public the agenda of the meeting.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is scheduled to present the 21st Annual Report of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) in the parliament meeting.
