Judicial Service Commission meet postponed as office bearers did not show up

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) convened by Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Ranam has been deferred as office bearers did not show up for meeting on Sunday.

The meeting was postponed as none of the JSC members showed up for the meeting; only Chief Justice Rana was said to be present at the meeting.

The meeting was put off after JSC office bearers Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Dilendra Badu, Senior Supreme Court (SC) Judge Deepak Kumar Karki, Attorney General Khamma Bahadur Khati and Chairman of the Public Service Commission Madhav Regmi did not show up.

The meeting was called to endorse results of district judge examinations taken by the Public Service Commission.
