Seven face charge at High Court for revenue leakage



KATHMANDU: The Department of Revenue Investigation (DRI) has filed a lawsuit against seven people on the charge of revenue leakage.

The department moved the High Court, Patan, against Bishal Rai of Manahari-6, Makwanpur; Mukunda Prasad Kafle of Bhimsthan-5, Sindhuli; Intayajul Haqque Munsuri of Birgunj Metropolis-22, Parsa; Santoshi Nepali of Gajuri-4, Dhading; Rupesh Tiwari of Bagahi-9, Parsa and Devlal Kushwaha whose address is yet to be ascertained.

The department has sought a fine of Rs 5.87 million from the accused, it said in a press statement today.

The case was filed on February 3.
