Prachanda and Oli reach Baluwatar to hold talks with PM Deuba



KATHMANDU: CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli have reached Baluwatar to hold talks with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba Sunday.

This is the UML chair’s first visit to Baluwatar after he was ousted from the government.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, leaders Prachanda and Oli arrived at the PM’s residence in Baluwatar to meet PM Deuba.

UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel and Minister of Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki are also accompanying the three leaders.

The meeting is said to be focused on local elections, US grant Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Compact, among other issues, PM’s Secretariat said.
