Election Commission registers Good Governance Party, provides certificate of registration

KATHMANDU: The Election Commission has registered former Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Ramesh Kharel’s ‘Nepal Good Governance Party’. The Election Commission Wednesday gave a certificate of registration to the party.

Issuing a statement Thursday, party Chair Kharel said the party would soon make public its principles, ideology and objectives. “Nepal Good Governance Party received the party registration certificate from the Election Commission. The party is preparing to publicize its principles, thought and objectives among the people soon,” the statement said.

The Election Commission verified 47 central members of the Nepal Good Governance Party. Kharel is the chairman and Raj Kumar Yadav, Chandrabir Nembang, Govinda Prasad Rijal, Shankar Lal Shrestha and Tulraj Basyal are vice-chairmen. Govinda Giri is the general secretary of the party.
