Nepal sees four new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of four new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Monday.

Of the confirmed cases, two were detected through the RT-PCR method and two through Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1,189 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 344 were tested through RT-PCR method and 846 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 98 active cases in the country as 18 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,019 to date.
