Dr Bhattarai, Dr Raut meet in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: Nepal Samajwadi Party (NSP) Chairman Dr. Baburam Bhattarai and Janmat Party Chairman Dr. CK Raut have met in Kathmandu on Monday morning.

After being elected to the House of Representatives, Chairman Dr. Raut has intensified his meetings with the top leaders of the mainstream political parties.

Writing on his social media on Monday, Dr. Bhattarai said that the two leaders talked about various issues including the review of the recent election and likely government.

Dr. Bhattarai mentioned the meeting as fruitful and said that Dr. Raut’s mainstream politics agenda reflect that the people who misinterpreted his (Bhattarai’s) meeting with Janamat party chair were wrong.

“I am happy that those who pointed fingers when I met him at the Singh Durbar while taking the opinion of all the then rebel groups as the Chairman of the Constitutional Committee during the drafting of the Constitution have been proved wrong today,” Dr. Bhattarai said.
