Dr. Toshima Karki resigns from NMC



KATHMANDU: After being elected as a member of the House of Representatives (HoR) from Lalitpur-3, Dr. Tosima Karki has resigned as a member of the Nepal Medical Council.

Dr. Karki reached the council on Sunday and submitted her resignation letter.

NMC Registrar Dr. Krishna Adhikari confirmed the news about Karki’s resignation and said that he would forward the resignation letter to the Ministry of Health and Population for further action.

“We have received the resignation letter. We will inform the Ministry of Health about his resignation for further action,” Dr. Adhikari said.

Dr. Karki has been elected as HoR member from Lalitpur-3 representing Rabi Lamichhane-led Rastriya Swatantra Party.
