Alliance government even after election: PM Deuba



DADELDHURA: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said it was necessary for the country to have the government of ruling alliance even after the election.

“The alliance government is imperative after election to protect constitution inclusive politics,” PM Deuba, who is also the President of Nepali Congress, said, adding that the democracy and inclusive constitution gained with much efforts must be protected.

He made such remark at an election assembly organized at Bhadrapur of Ajaymeru Rural Municipality.

“Can Limpiyadhura be retrieved as KP Oli ji reaches Darchula,” he questioned, arguing that not the speech by opposition leaders in Darchula but the diplomatic dialogue is needed for retrieving the encroached land.

So, Oli’s speech does not hold any meaning, Deuba added.

The PM shared that the current coalition was formed against the act of dissolving parliament by pressing the President. He expressed his confidence that coalition government would be formed after the upcoming election.

“We moved to the court after we felt it was enough,” he reminded.

The Head of the Government pledged to establish a medical college and airport in Dadheldhura.

“No pregnant woman will die in lack of treatment,” Deuba vowed.

For building airport, PM Deuba assured feasibility study.

Stating that many development works were carried out in Dadheldhura district, the leader pledged to deliver on remaining tasks.

On a different note, he claimed that development of Sudurpaschim Province would be faster if Nepali Congress and CPN (Maoist Centre) joined hands.

Pointing at Khagaraj Bhatta, Deuba said, “He is a CPN (Maoist Centre) leader. If his party and our party join hands, Sudurpaschim Province will be developed. Dadheldhura will be most developed.”

While addressing, he stressed on delivering on education, health, drinking water and physical infrastructures.
