2 children die in Arjunkhola, Dang



DANG: Two children died after drowning in the Arjunkhola at Lamahi in Dang.

According to Dang police, 13-year-old Lalit Periyar and 10-year-old Ajit BK of Arnhawa, Lamhi-4, who went swimming in Arjunkhola in Lamhi Municipality-6, drowned on Tuesday afternoon.

Sub-Inspector Prakash Jaisi Dhakal of Armed Police Force No. 41 Dang, two of the five friends who went to bathe in the afternoon died.

Immediately after the incident, APF team was mobilized for search and rescue. The body of the deceased has been kept at Lamahi Hospital.
