Absconding accused in banking fraud case arrested



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a person accused of a banking fraud case.

The absconding arrested person, Deepak Chandra Acharya from Gorkha Municipality-7 of Gorkha was living in Kathmandu Metropolitan Municipality-10 Baneshwar.

He was absconding as over Rs 1.9 million was demanded from him in a banking fraud case.

He was arrested by a special investigation team from Thapagaon in Kathmandu.
