Rs 8.3 million rupees stacked into potato sack seized



DHANUSHA: Two persons have been arrested in Dhanusha Tuesday along with Rs. 8.364 million rupees found stacked inside a sack full of potatoes.

Among the arrested are Ishwar Mandal, 36, and Rajesh Mandal, 19, of Janakandani Rural Municipality-5.

Inspector Shambhu Katuwal of the Armed Police Force shared that they were taken under control from Inarwa border point in Janakandani-1.

He said that police had arrested them while they were returning from India on a motorcycle (J7 Pa 5007) carrying the cash hidden inside a sack of potatoes.

According to the Armed Police Force, the two have been handed over to the District Customs Office, Janakpur for necessary action.
