Speaker Sapkota meets Prime Minister Deuba



KATHMANDU: Speaker Agni Sapkota has visited Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

Speaker Sapkota reached Baluwatar on Sunday afternoon to meet the Prime Minister.

During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the selection of the vacant chairperson of the State Management and Good Governance Committee under the House of Representatives and the leadership of the Public Accounts Committee, according to the Secretariat of the speaker.

According to the Secretariat, Prime Minister Deuba and Speaker Sapkota have also discussed the pending bills including, citizenship’s, and picking a Deputy Speaker.

The parliament is running smoothly after the May 13 local level election as the CPN-UML has ended obstruction.
