Lightning kills 44-yr-old man in Okhaldhunga



OKHALDHUNGA: A man has died after being struck by lightning strikes in Liku rural municipality-8, Tarkerabari in Okhaldhunga.

The deceased has been identified as 44-year-old Dev Bahadur Darji of the same place. Megh Bahadur Darji,40, and Dev Bahadur were sitting at Chautara (resting place) nearby when the lighting struck.

Critically injured Dev Bahadur, who was taken to Tamakoshi Hospital, Ramechhap passed away in the course of treatment, said District Police Office, Okhaldhunga.

The other injured Megh Bahadur has been referred to Patan Hospital in Lalitpur for further treatment.
