Detainee of Kailali Prison dies



KATHMANDU: A detainee has died in Kailali Prison.

The deceased has been identified as Shyam Bahadur Thapa Magar, 20, of Ghodaghodi Municipality-3, Kailali. He was in jail on a drug-related case.

Prison Jailer Nara Bahadur Thapa said that Thapa Magar, who was undergoing treatment in the ICU of Seti Provincial Hospital, died on Friday night in course of treatment.

According to him, Thapa Magar had been ill for the past two months due to lung-related problem. He had been undergoing treatment at the provincial hospital since March 3.
