Labour Minister Shrestha directs timely completion of dev projects



KATHMANDU: Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security Krishna Kumar Shrestha has directed completion of development projects in time.

Inspecting the blacktopping of the Bageshwori Road at Bhanu Municipality-6 in Tanahun district on Friday, the minister asked the contractor to complete the project in time and not to compromise on the quality work. “The project should be completed in time.

I am ready to remove hurdles (any) in the way of the construction,” he said to the contractor. The construction of a canal and gravelling the road section is also a part of the project that has taken place on the initiatives of the minister.

For the project, Rs 50 million has been released (Rs 20 million provided by the Road Division and the rest Rs 30 million by the Ministry of Urban Development).

Under the project, 500 meters road will be blacktopped, 3,000 meters canal constructed and 4,000 meters road graveled.
