516 Nepalis leave Ukraine; 6 taking shelter in bunker



KYIV: Six Nepali people, who are trying to flee war-torn Ukraine, are taking shelter in a bunker.

They took a shelter in a bunker in Ukraine on Friday while heading to Poland.

‘Six Nepalis are safe in a bunker in Ukraine,’ said Nepali Ambassador to Germany Ram Kaji Khadka, adding, “They may arrive in Poland by Saturday.”

Around 516 Nepalis have left Ukraine for another countries until Friday evening.

Nepalis are leaving Ukraine following the Russian invasion eight days ago. According to Ambassador Khadka, 408 Nepalis have reached Poland.

Similarly, 71 Nepalis have arrived in Slovakia, 33 in Romania, six in Hungary and four in Moldova.
