Nepal sees 435 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours

Kathmandu valley sees 253 cases in 24 hours



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 435 new cases of coronavirus while 239 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 370 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 65 from the antigen method.

Likewise, there are 209 cases in Kathmandu, 18 in Bhaktapur and 26 in Lalitpur, taking the total cases in the valley to 253 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there was no coronavirus-related death reported in the past 24 hours. With this, the COVID-19 death toll in the country is 11,601 till date.

There are 5,225 active cases of coronavirus in Nepal as of Wednesday.
