KATHMANDU: Former President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has stressed that investment to be made in Nepal should be nature-friendly.

In his address to a project launching ceremony organized by the Idea Group here today, the first President of Nepal was of the view that Nepal is a highly potential zone for investments in hydropower, tourism, and agriculture, and herbs processing.

The Group with its headquarters in Hong Kong is a multinational company comprising the Non-Resident Nepali and foreign partners that launched the ‘ Idea for Nepal’ project.

On the occasion, Dr Yadav urged the non-resident Nepali to utilize their knowledge, skills, and expertise in-country and contribute to creating job opportunities for youths and thus discourage them from going for overseas employment. He also urged the NRNs to come up with creative and innovative ideas useful for the country.

He took time to urge all sides for the contribution to resolve existing issues related to the court and parliament.
